The Fairway 590 offers a big family a lot of tourer for the cash check the panels for damage and also look for fading on the front panels

Pros: Spacious, excellent spec, great value, good end washroom ideal for seasonal pitch tourer
Cons: Not many around for sale due to high, big family tourer, demand, no ATC side fixed bottom bunk make up can be clumsy

Look out for: Faded and pealing front graphics and seating loosing support on well used examples.

Extra equipment: The Fairway range offers a great spec as standard so few people added but look for a mover.

Jenkinson’s opinion: The Swift Fairway range is a super dealer special by Broadlane Caravans who have had this Swift based range over 20 years! It’s popular with buyers wanting some nice extras as standard. Okay so it’s a 2007 Fairway but if in good order they make a great value buy at around £10,900 to £11,495 ish. The twin offers a super front lounge and side kitchen that’s well equipped in standard Charisma (which the Fairway was based on) but also adds roof extractor fan too. There is super comfort upholstery with bolster corner cushions to add to the comfort. There is excellent night lighting too and there is the collapsible side bottom bunk which allows extra storage for a bike but it’s a little clumsy to make up.

There is a large side kitchen that’s got plenty of kit including roof fan extractor, rear end washroom has shower cubicle. Microwave and duel fuel hob and extractor fan are standard kit along with alarm and BBQ gas point

A great rear end washroom has shower cubicle as well as an electric flush loo while overhead locker storage is well catered for. So the Fairway is a dealer special well worth looking out for no matter what year it is but the 07 range offers a great tourer for the cash asked. Among a lot of dealer specials the Fairway is one of the best established and models easily found on most dealer forecourts.

How to find a good one
Broadlane the dealers usually get a fair amount traded back in for a newer model. So best to contact them first in any search, also check the dealers near yourself to because these vans are long term models so supply is generally good used. Look for private sales to with such things as an awning thrown in makes a used buy a further bargain buy. The addition of a mover on the twin axle is always a bonus and again do check the age of the mover and if it still works okay too.
